Barbara Sinatra, Widow of Frank Sinatra, Dies at 90

Barbara Sinatra, philanthropist and wife of the legendary singer Frank Sinatra, died on Tuesday at 90 years old. The center provides services for abused, neglected and at risk children. A 2-year-old boy has died after a family member accidentally struck the child with an SUV in Fontana Tuesday morning, one day after his birthday. “I was really just heartbroken after that. Police won’t confirm who ran over the child, but residents told KTLA it was his grandmother, who had just stopped by the home. “Seems like a family member … went to move the vehicle.

Life-saving measures continued on the little boy once first responders arrived, but he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The Expedition could be seen stopped in the middle of the road. Sky5 aerial video showed the boy’s body covered by a sheet, in the middle of some sort of triangular barrier that was set up near the driveway of a home. Officers responded to a report of a crash involving a vehicle and pedestrian in the 16500 block of El Revino Drive around 10:20 a.m., according to a Fontana Police Department news release. It was unclear if they were related to the child.

An 18-year-old man was arrested Monday after surveillance video allegedly captured him abandoning his 16-day-old boy in the parking lot of a strip mall in Suisun City, police said. He is in critical but stable condition, police said. The baby’s mother has spoken with police, and is not considered a suspect. The infant has been placed in the protective custody of Solano County Child Protective Services. Suisun City officers interviewed Mitchell at the hospital. First responded took the infant to North Bay Medical Center for observation, but he was later life flighted to another hospital after medical tests revealed a condition. Mitchell had also been arrested in late June on multiple felony changes after a burglary in Suisun City, according to police. Daniel Mitchell is seen in a booking photo released by Suisun City police. after someone called to report a baby left alone in the parking lot near a barber shop, according to a Suisun City Police Department news release. While police investigated, Mitchell was involved in a hit-and-run collision in Fairfield, according to the release. Police interviewed witnesses and retrieved surveillance video, which showed the suspect — identified as Daniel Mitchell, of Fairfield — and his car. Officers responded to the Sunset Shopping Center around 3:15 p.m. Barber shop employees told police they found the abandoned infant after observing a baby carrier in the parking lot, the release stated.

FBI, LAPD Warn About ‘Virtual Kidnapping’ Ransom Schemes

More than 80 people, many in Southern California, have been targeted by scammers claiming to have kidnapped the victims’ loved ones in a series of crimes that authorities call “virtual kidnapping for ransom schemes.”

San Bernardino Man Convicted of Murder Blames ‘Government Mind Control Project’

They added that Bennington’s family wants “the world to know that you were the best husband, son, and father; the family will never be whole without you.”
“Your absence leaves a void that can never be filled — a boisterous, funny, ambitious, creative, kind, generous voice in the room is missing,” the note read. Linkin Park was to begin a tour this week in Massachusetts, but that was canceled after Bennington’s death. The Linkin Park singer was found dead on what would have been Cornell’s birthday.

Toddler Found Wandering Alone in North Hills Area Is ID’d; Father Being Interviewed by Police: LAPD

The child was located by a truck driver around 6 a.m. Police earlier said the boy was 2 years old before updating the age once the toddler’s cousin came forward and identified him. in the area of Van Nuys Boulevard and Woodman Avenue, A Los Angeles Police Department official said at a late-morning news conference. However, the little boy somehow managed to get out of the house alone. The father apparently woke up at 6 a.m. It was there that the truck driver found the boy and notified authorities. to get the child dressed; the man’s nephew was supposed to come to the residence and take the child to a clinic, where he would receive his immunization shots for school, according to police. He took the same route he would normally take with his parents to get to a nearby supermarket, police said. After the child was identified, his father went down to the police station; He was in the process of being interviewed late in the morning, and was not immediately reunited with his son. A father is being interviewed by police after his 3-year-old son was found wandering by himself near a supermarket in the North Hills area on Monday morning, authorities said. The mother had some personal stuff going on, and is in North Carolina, another police official said at the news conference. The chip uses the same near-field communications chip technology used in credit cards. As a leader in micro market technology, it is important that 32M continues leading the way with advancements such as chip implants,” 32M CEO Todd Westby said. The program is optional. The company said there is no GPS tracking in the chips because the technology is similar to an office keycard.
